Bilbao
is the largest city of the Basque country and the capital
city of the Biscay region.
LOCATION
The city of Bilbao is located in the northern Spain
alongside River Nervion, Bay of Biscay.
CLIMATE OF BILBAO
Bilbao experiences a generally mild climate the year
round. The coastal areas are cool and humid. The city
receives rainfall in the spring and autumn season. Average
summer and winter temperatures are around 20º C
and 8º C.

Museum Guggenheim
Designed by American architect Frank O. Gehry, the museum
is Bilbao's top tourist attraction. The stupendous architecture
has orthogonal blocks in limestone contrasting with
curved and bent forms covered in titanium while the
whole building is a combination of interconnecting shapes.
The Museum Guggenheim showcases permanent Collection
and temporary exhibitions.
Plaza Circular
A place frequently visited by tourists, the Plaza Circular
is dominated by a huge statue of the Don Diego López
de Haro, Lord Of Vizcaya and founder of Bilbao in 1300.
A hub of commercial buildings, it is also the location
of the most famous fountains in Bilbao.
Casco Viejo
Taking the lift at Casco Viejo will bring you face to
face with the fine views of Bilbao and the greenery.
Alighting from the lift, you can visit the landmark
Basilica de Begona.
